Not long ago I did a year in review for 2011. Well, days fly. 2012 is coming to an end. It has been an interesting year in the tech world. Here I attempt (yeah, it’s just an attempt) to look back at the year in various categories. There’s a lot to write home about tech in 2012 but I’ll only narrow down to mobile tech. I’ll look at both at both the hardware and the software.
Under hardware I’ll look at the major players, the manufacturers and what they brought to the table in 2012, how they played out locally. That should form a sufficient background as to what we can expect in 2013.
Under software I’ll look at the various platforms and what they had to offer in 2012.
Feel free to agree and disagree. Divergent views and opinions are welcome. Where I’ve left out something or stated it wrongly, kindly point out.

I am grateful for the support that I have received from all quarters in 2012. The growth of this blog this year has been amazing and also overwhelming. Many are the times that I have disappointed by not replying to queries and comments raised here as quickly as it should be. I am sorry. I get lots of such and keeping up is such a huge task.
