Not long ago, I was over myself as I subscribed on the Instagram waiting page to be among the first to be notified should the number one camera app make its way to the Android platfrom. Well, it eventually did. Folks, however late this news maybe from my side, I am very happy that Instagram For Android is finally here! Yaay let the Easter parties and endless photo sessions begin.
For those of us who had signed up for the notifications from Instagram, we got this email
Now what next, take all the shots that your sd card can handle share them. Don’t forget to find echenze on Instagram. Let those camera shutters click!
To my fellow Kenyans, there is a downside though. The widely popular low end smartphone, the Huawei U8150 IDEOS is not supported. Most of my friends have this phone and it is very sad that they have been locked out of the party. I hope a future update should make the app accessible to these users even though the Ideot (yes we call it that way) camera is very whacky.
Head over to the Google Play store and install Instagram on your Android device.
